ABOUT
Hi! I'm Emily, a Cornish Maker based on Tresco in the Isles of Scilly. I create handmade jewellery inspired by the natural beauty of the islands using seaglass, sea pottery & shells that I collect from the local beaches.
Me and my partner moved to Scilly from the tropical shores of Penzance in 2017 intending to stay for a summer season but we fell in love with the islands and soon decided to make it our home permanently.
I have always loved all things creative whether it's painting, illustration or textiles and studied Design at Goldsmiths University London with a focus on graphic design. I dabbled in a bit of jewellery making after university but it wasn't until 2020 that jewellery became a real passion of mine starting out as a hobby and gradually becoming my full time job.
When I'm not in my shed making you can find me beachcombing alongside my handsome staffy X Bosun and my little girl Maeve.

ENNOR
The name Ennor comes from the Old Cornish meaning ‘The Great Island’. Ennor was thought to be a large island West of Cornwall until it was divided by rising sea levels into the Isles of Scilly.
